Spicy Margarita 💃🏼





It’s almost the weekend… Whose in the mood for a MARGARITA?


I love to enjoy drinks with friends. It shouldn’t feel like you have to choose between having fun and achieving your fitness goals. Here is my “go to” margarita recipe that WILL NOT spike your blood sugar or give you a hang over the next morning! Order it when you’re out with the girls or make it at home!


Ingredients:

✨1-2 ounces Casamigos Tequila

✨Fresh juice from 1 Lime

✨2-3 thin slices Jalapeno

✨1 tbs Monk Fruit Simple Syrup (recipe below)

✨Lime LaCroix or other type of Sparking water!


Directions:

✨Line the rim of your drink with monk fruit sweetener OR sea salt! I like to use a lime to wet the rim of the glass.

✨Fill your cup with cocktail ice.

✨Add tequila, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and fill the rest of the glass with La Croix.

✨Top with jalapeño slices and a slice of lime!


Simple Syrup Recipe


Ingredients:

✨1/2 Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener

✨1 cup water


Instructions:

✨Add the water and sweetener to a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce to a summer until the monk fruit is dissolved.

✨Let the syrup cool and transfer to a mason jar. Store at room temperature.
